This has an appealing supple, fleshy texture to the mango, salted melon and white peach notes, with a hint of litsea oil and feijoa fruit. Finishes with a touch of dried sage and fresh acidity. Drink now. 62,980 cases imported.

Craggy's latest vintages are vibrant, succulent, delicious creatures, as well demonstrated by this Sauvignon. Bright and aromatic, it exudes passion fruit, lime blossom, ruby grapefruit and grass. The palate is dry, crisp and slippery, with juicy citrus and dried herbs. This is everything we love about Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc, wrapped up with a bow on top.

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Te Muna Road Martinborough is open and approachable, ready for drinking in youth. Compared with its usual vibrancy and tension, it's a little lackluster with modest concentration of fruit and a lack of focus on the swishy mid-palate. That said, it finishes with crispness and attractive grip, leaving subtle passionfruit and green notes on the acid-driven finish. A long way off its best. Blame the season.
