ALOIS SETTIMO PALLAGRELLO NERO 2022 750 ML 2022

Settimo is a medium-bodied wine from the IGT Terre del Volturno appellation, crafted from the ancient Pallagrello Nero and mysterious Casavecchia grape varieties. Grown in the volcanic ash soils of Monti Trebulani in Alta Campania, the vineyard was planted in 2002 and follows a Guyot training system. The wine undergoes a 14-day maceration in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation and six months of bottle aging. With an alcohol content of 13%, it offers aromas of red fruit, forest floor, and exotic spices, culminating in a long and juicy finish. This sustainably-farmed wine reflects a rich historical heritage and meticulous vinification process.
