The 2022 GSM is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre done with 100% stems. It offers a striking combination of fruit density, freshness and energy. Rose petal, lavender, crushed rocks, mint and orange peel all run through this deep, layered GSM. There's gorgeous depth and purity here. I loved it.

A lighter hue in the glass, this wine hits the nose with raspberry aromas as well as gamy funk. The palate's crisp strawberry and pomegranate flavors also meet those game and earth tones.

Juicy red fruits (cherries, strawberries), flowers, sappy herbs, and some peppery notes all emerge from the 2022 GSM Red Blend, a charming, medium-bodied, juicy, lively red that stays nicely balanced. Based on 50% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache, and the balance Syrah, from a mix of sites in Santa Barabara County, it was not destemmed and was brought up all in neutral oak. It reminds me of a great Côtes du Rhône and is perfect for drinking over the coming 5-6 years.
