Nuanced notes of white pepper, paprika, agave and red berries on the nose. A hint of tobacco and tapenade. Medium-bodied on the palate, with chalky tannins and a linear, elegant finish. Long and subtle. I’d rate it even higher were there more depth on the palate. Delicious now, but can hold.

Sourced from Gualtallary, the 2021 Cabernet Franc Altitude 1350 marks the vineyard's first release. Aged up to 16 months in oak barrels, 20% new, it reveals notes of black and red fruit, raspberry marmalade, cassis and a hint of ash and light jalapeño. The palate is compact, featuring chalky, juicy tannins and a medium-length finish. This is a distinctive, high-elevation Cabernet Franc.

Fresh and savory, this Cabernet Franc comes from vines planted over 4,400 feet. The nose is expressive with peppercorn and subtle notes of cherry. Bay leaves, red fruit and hints of cardamom fill the rich palate, where enough acidity extends the flavors through an herbal finish.
