The nose of this straw-yellow Chardonnay is expressive, with aromas of clove-poached Anjou pear and honeysuckle. The palate then turns to flavors of chalky minerality, crème brûlée, fresh Fuji apple and juicy melon. An aromatic and vibrant finish lingers for the next minute or so.

Pouring a straw/silver hue, the 2022 Chardonnay Alexander Valley is forward in the glass with notes of powder, parmesan, citrus pith, and melon. Medium-bodied, it takes on a bit of sweetness on the palate and is rather one-dimensional. Drink now.
