Brilliant ruby red with garnet nuances. A bouquet of intense notes of red fruits , sour cherries and currants, and floral notes, such as dried rose. Well integrated boisè notes follow, sweet cigar tobacco and coffee stand out. On the palate, a complex entrance, elegant and well-integrated tannic texture, lively acidity. Small red fruits are present, followed by notes of chocolate and eucalyptus, the aromatic part is perfectly integrated with balsamic notes. Long persistence.

Filigree complexity here with a multilayered profile, including balsamic tones, not so obvious red cherries and dried fruit, licorice, light camphor and fresh violets. Full-bodied, energetic palate with firm, velvety tannins and a chalky finish. Crisp, integrated acidity. Rich and vibrant, despite some warmth. Best after 2026.

The 2020 Brunello di Montalcino opens in the glass with a burst of black cherries and raspberries complemented by hints of autumnal spices and blood orange. This displays silken textures and depths of ripe red and black fruits that take on a more crunchy sensation of tactile minerals toward the close. Long and intense yet juicy and fresh, the 2020 finishes with a coating of edgy tannins and a tart blackberry tinge that keeps the mouth watering for more.

The 2020 Brunello Di Montalcino is a deep brick red color and offers brooding aromas of toasted cedar, chestnut, spiced plum, and anise. Full-bodied, it has a weightless feel on the palate, with supple, ripe tannins, earthy notes of black truffle, and a rich, chocolaty texture through the finish. It's showing well now and will be best enjoyed over the next 5-6 years. Drink 2025-2030.
