Segla Margaux 2012
|Region||France, Bordeaux, Margaux|
Segla is the second wine of the prestigious Chateau Rauzan Segla. More accessible than the first wine, the aim for SÃÂegla is to produce a wine of extremely good quality and value reflecting all the elements of Margaux and giving a true insight to the quality of the Grand Vin. Deep ruby in apperance, Segla delivers aromas of blueberry and vanilla on the nose. On the palate it is medium bodied with silky tannins.
Well-focused, with racy sanguine and singed alder notes running throughout, while the core of plum, red currant and raspberry coulis holds sway. The gentle finish features a subtle roasted sandalwood accent.
