Stephen Vincent Sonoma County Pinot Noir 2013

SKU 757725030064

Fragrant Sonoma aromatics of wild strawberry, cherry lip gloss, forest floor, with a hint of fennel. Dark fruit flavors with cherry cola on the entry transition towards tart cranapple and Jolly Rancher candy before tapering off into a rhubarb pie filling finish. Soft tannins are a bit more pronounced thanks to a core of acidity. This would be an excellent accompaniment to lamb chops with a rosemary marinade, baked salmon in a lemon and butter sauce, or my favorite pairing, duck confit on a bed of wild mushroom risotto.

Wine AdvocateThe 2013 Pinot Noir, which comes from hillside vineyards, offers plenty of baking spices, cinnamon, sweet strawberry and cherry. Fully mature and not likely to get any better, this medium ruby wine should be drunk over the next 2-3 years.
