Wine SpectatorFocused savory flavors surround a lean, lithe core of black fruit and cocoa in this firm red, finishing with harmony and powdery tannins. Needs time to open up. Best from 2016 through 2020. 14,500 cases imported.

Wine AdvocateThe medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2012 Bin 9 Cabernet Sauvignon had only just been bottled when tasted. It is intensely scented of fresh blackcurrants and blackberries with hints of pencil shavings, cloves and thyme. Medium-bodied and held up by a firm backbone of chewy tannins and crisp acid, the taut fruit finishes with good length, if a little overly herbal.14,500 bottles were made. Drink it now to 2020+.
