Ceretto Moscato d'Asti Vignaioli di Santo Stefano 2017
|Region||Italy, Piedmont, Moscato d'Asti|
Good full straw. Ripe aromas of apricot, lemon curd, marzipan and white flowers. Rich, dense and showy, offering sweet flavors similar to the aromas. The finish is long and luscious, though it strikes me as a little less fresh than in some other recent vintages. Still, this is a lovely wine from a real benchmark producer of this variety and wine.
A lively and harmonious version, with a light, zesty mousse and finely woven notes of melon, rose petal, candied ginger and peach skin, revealing a touch of ground cardamom. Fresh finish. Drink now.
